Ok so i haven't been on here for a good while, but have made progress within the last few months all of my toiles have been finished and i passed my last assignment :) I am now making my dress which is nearly finished just the lining to be sewn and my next dress is all cut out ready to be sewn the only thing is i need to buy all my threads so another trip up to london is well needed for al the finishing touches :)

I had work today so didnt get time to do much coursework, i managed to write another 200 words for my dissertation this morning and then when i finished work carried on with my other dress for the toile review tomorrow but now im starting to not like it so im sure i'll be making some more changes to my collection...oh and its heavily snowing right now and as much as i would love to be snowed in i'd rather get my toile review done and then go to the gig that i had booked ages ago as ive been sooo excited for it....Vampire Weekend please dont cancel :)

Okayy so been a bit lazy over the weekend but getting back on track again, writing more in my dissertation only another 4000 words to go!! its gradually getting there.
Cant believe theres only 2 weeks till its gotta be in the weeks are flying by now. Got my pleated trousers finished today so need to sew my other pleated dress together and make the top part on my other dress fit as its a bit loose and change the back to it...so theres a lot to be done for thursdays toile review and i only have a day! I have 4 garments at least tho...

Fabric Shopping!! :)

Went up to Berwick Street today to have a look at some fabrics for my collection, I wanted some light looking fabrics but with weight to them to so that the pleats in my outfits will stand out, I liked alot of the silk dupions i found and the colours go nice too, I was goin for a neutral tones but like the pearly shines too...heres some pics of my samples...

Okay so finally i managed to merge the top and bottom of this pattern together it was sooo confusing but i really like how its turned out :)...here are some pics of the pattern and when I made it all up...

Dissertation!!!

Okayy so todays plan has been a bit delayed today, I was going to carry on with my 6000 word dissertation which im really stressing about but kind of missed my alarm ooops! But gonna get started now iv done 200 words so another 5800 to go!! Been neglecting this module really as I've been concentrating on my outfits which i enjoy more... Was quite proud of my cape i managed to make yesterday tho so i'll put the pics up in a bit :) off to write i go......
